Q: How Frequently Should Testing and Inspection
Be Performed?
A: Testing and Inspection should Always Be Performed as per your
Project Specifications, however, in the event that Inspection Frequency is
not noted in the Specifications, a general rule of thumb would be the
following:
Whenever Concrete is being Placed.
Whenever Backfilling Operations are undertaken.
Whenever Footings are Excavated.
Whenever Structural Steel is Erected.
Whenever There is a Reason to Question or Need to Confirm Quality or
Compliance.

Q: How Long Does It Take To Get Test Results?
A: Many times, Test Results can be obtained immediately upon
completion of Testing, However in the case of Certain Tests, (28 Day
Cylinder Tests), Results will not be available for a prescribed period of
time.
Q: I have Samples That Need To Be Tested. How Can
I Get Them To You?
A: LIMTL Will be happy to arrange Pick-Up or Delivery of Test
Samples, and arrange for Sampling of Materials as well. Please Feel Free

Q: How Do I Schedule Testing And Inspection
Services?
A: Please Call (718) 445-8300 No Later Than 4:00 P.M. The Day
Prior to Inspection. All Project Inspections are Scheduled The Day
Prior to expected Inspections, Therefore, Calling The Day OF Inspection
will Incur Additional Charges.
Q: What Are Your Laboratory Hours?
A: LIMTL is Open Monday Through Friday, From 7:00am - 5:30pm. We
Are Open On Saturday By Special Arrangement, or To Accommodate Testing.
Field Personnel, Including Inspectors are Available Monday Through
Saturday, 7:00am – 5:30pm, and Sunday By Special Arrangement Only.
